It was nice to see a first full week in action, we are ready for a bit of a break to rest up until we are back into the full swing of school. We have been working really hard on the third grade routine. Our main focus was participating in class and raising our hands to speak. The other focus was making sure to use the bathroom when instructions are not being given. It is a tough transition especially when we can have a normal conversation without putting our hands in the air and going to the bathroom whenever we want to in summer. This is a great class and it was a great first full week. We are going to have a good year.
A couple quick reminders. The devotions that were done this last week will be handed in on Tuesday morning when your student comes back to school, since we don't have school on Monday. That also means that for this coming week your student only needs to do a devotion for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We only do devotions for the days we have school. Then we will also have lesson two spelling to focus on as well this coming week.
